Was poorly away in the small field last start over 1000m at Wyong then worked home well to finish second. Very fit and an extra 100m looks a good fit. THUNDER LIGHTS (7) made substantial improvement last time out when lining up for the second time, failing to beat one home but finishing just 3.6 lengths adrift at the end of 1000m at Wyong. Nicely drawn and with further progress today he poses a genuine threat. FROSTY BANGERS (5) is back from a nine-week break. Struggled to make an impact in four runs last prep but will find this easier. Cannot be ruled out. BONDI STELLA (8) settled back in the field and was never a factor on debut over 1000m at this track recently. Worth another chance with winkers going on today.
