One More Race To Go

Prize Money: $2,925

SAVE ME GARY (5) hit the ground running last time with a strong early split and tried to lead throughout but had to settle for the minors when second (23.61) at Horsham over 410m. The form out of his last race has been franked. Can measure up this time. COLLECTIVE KAOS (1) hit the ground running and set it up early clocking 22.31 with a 1.75 lengths win at this track over 390m. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. Should feature again. PAW JAXSON (8) showed little early speed at his last couple, the latest finishing sixth (22.76) in a Grade 5 H at Geelong. Solid record at the distance winning two races. Should be in this for a long way. BUSH JEWEL (2) missed the placings here last start but is well-placed to atone.

Showed strong early pace and proved too slick around this track over 390m in 22.31, claiming a Grade 5 by 1.75 lengths. Can continue the winning form.

Missed the frame last time but was in the minors two on end prior to that, the most recent when third (22.85) over 390m at Ballarat. Has a low draw but will need to find best.

Missed the frame latest (22.95) when seventh over 400m at Geelong in a Grade 5 H. Still a maiden from this draw but has never missed the frame from three starts. Has ability and can sneak into the finish.

Found the going tougher last start when third over 390m at this track. That followed a win two back in 17.69 beating No Idea over 305m at Mt Gambier. Others preferred on this occasion.

Charged out of the boxes with a fast early split and led for much of the way before being grabbed late, finishing a 2.25 lengths second at Horsham over 410m in 23.61. Has an exceptional 21.99 best time at this course and distance. Big chance.

Comments

Last start finished 6th over 400m at Geelong beaten 5.5 lengths (22.76) behind Deadly Force in a Grade 5 H on October 9. Below best last time but looks well placed here. Deserves another chance.
