Key player on best and expected to bounce back. CRIMINAL MINDS (7) missed the frame last time but had been racing well prior to that, winning a Class 5 three back before a placing at Manukau the following run. Expected to bounce back to best. PURE PRECISION (2) was below best last time but three back was a Class 5 winner in the quickest time on the card at Manukau over 527m in a Class 5. Recent racing had been contesting the Auckland cup heats. Well placed here and can atone this time. DOUBLE PLEASE (8) took up a forward position and go the job done last time out.
