Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. SARGEANT BARGER (2) finished fourth last start over 1609m at this track (Dirt) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Rates highly and expected to go well. FIXITWITHFORWARD (5) finished 12 lengths back in fourth when returning from a break and tackling a dirt track for the first time last start at this track over 1673m. Open to plenty of improvement and is one of the main contenders. CONSTITUTION COAL (3) settled well back and failed to come on last start when fifth over 1207m at this track (Dirt) at his first run back from a break. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
