Great chance to return to form with just 52kgs on his back. EDITED BY (4) worked home in good style to get up for second in the Ballina Cup over this distance last time out. Consistent gelding who drops a massive 8.5kgs on the last run and is rock hard fit after four runs back from a spell. MICKEY'S MEDAL (7) settled near the tail of an 18-horse field before making late inroads for a midfield finish recently over 1400m at the Gold Coast. Has filled a placing at five of seven runs over this distance. Should be right in the finish with the lightweight out of gate one. VICTORIA ROAD (1) has struggled all prep in better quality races in Sydney. Freshened up and might surprise back in this easier race.
