SWEET STRIKE (5) is a lightly-raced but progressive gelding who did some work but was too good in a winning return at Menangle last week, finishing 2 metres ahead of his rivals. Up in grade but should only be improved and has plenty of upside. WAHAKA (3) is flying having made it three wins in a row at the most recent appearance, getting home by more than 9 metres at Menangle. Freshened since but was kept up to the mark with a trial and has the benefit of a good draw. IDEAL IN DREAMS (2) was held up late when fourth at Menangle last time out. Proven at this circuit and distance and draws to advantage. SIREN SEA (4) was racing very consistently with a string of top-four finishes prior to the latest attempt so could bounce back.

Two runs back ran on from midfield and won by 5 m as favourite after showing early speed, (Fr1) at Tamworth (1:26.60) beating Heza Doozie in NR 55 to 65 on January 23 at $3.70 at the bell was leading 2.98. Recent form is impossible to fault and draws for another strong showing.
