Jumped in trip with a battling eighth over 1890m at Newcastle. Improver here with the 3kg claim. Go close. TALANA (2) big improver on the firmer surface when back in grade for a fighting head win over 1500m at Port Macquarie in BM58 class. Ticks a few boxes again and sure to be thereabouts. PRINCE IS GAME (12) closed strongly at latest for a most improved second over 1600m here. Doesn't get the same map favours today but capable of taking a hand in the finish.
