SMOKIN' JILL (2) made light work of the tricky draw with a fast early sectional but gathered in and had to settle for the minors, finishing second (19.02) at Q Straight over 350m. Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Can feature again. GREAT TERMS (8) is better than last start when fifth (29.93) in a Grade 5 at this track over 520m. Solid record here at the distance winning three races. Expected to give a good account. DEVENISH DEVIL (1) found the frame for the second consecutive time when narrowly beaten into third last time out (22.05) over 390m at Q Lakeside.
