Sandown Park Race 6

Sportsbet Ht2 (1-6 Wins)

Prize Money: $3,940

DISCOURAGED (1) goes very well at the distance with two wins and a placing from six starts. Was out of placings last time (19.88) at Healesville in a Grade 5 H, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths. Looks the one to beat with even luck. IN MODERATION (4) turned spotting a big start finishing sixth (43.50) last time in a Special conditions H at The Meadows. Has a strong record at this journey including three wins. Some good form is emerging from his last run. Worth following up. XARA'S JAI (7) turned in a fair 4th placed finish last time at this track over 515m (29.80). Key runner on best form. OPALITE (3) has strong credentials over this journey.

Missed the frame latest (19.88) when fourth over 350m at Healesville in a Grade 5 H. Still a maiden from this draw but has never missed the frame from two starts. Looks suited here and rates a leading chance.

Racing well without winning, filling the minors at her last seven starts, the latest when third (30.47) at The Meadows. Drawn close to the inside. Looks tested in this line-up.
