PELICAN PIER (3) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 7 lengths when fifth in a 805m contest at Timonium four weeks ago. Has the talent to put the recent run of form behind her. PARIS BY NIGHT (6) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 805m at Timonium (Dirt) when she was prominent throughout. Has the class to take care of this field. BROWN SUGAR BETTY (2) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish second last time over 1106m at Delaware Park (Dirt), beaten 4 lengths. Will drift back but wind up late. Strong chance. THICK BUT QUICK (4) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in fourth at Timonium (Dirt) over 805m. Don't underestimate.
