Yonkers Raceway Race 3

Race 3

Prize Money: $25,862

OVER THE HORIZON (5) has been racing well of late. Finished third at his latest appearance over 1609m at this track, beaten 6 metres. Meets a similar line up and he can figure in the finish. CAPTAIN AWESOME (3) scored at this track three runs ago but has been unplaced in two subsequent runs, the latest when fourth over 1609m at this track, beaten 6 metres. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Good enough to put himself in the winners' stall. SPOOKY LOU (6) is in the mix following a respectable second at his most recent appearance over 1609m at Northfield Park. ONYX BOVINO (2) is a consistent performer with three top-three finishes on the trot. Won't let backers down. Something for the Multiples: HAPPY HOUR BLUES (7)

Well beaten last start by Happy Hour Blues, a rival who he faces again; when 16 metres sixth at this track over 1609m in a 3-6YO20CLM race on October 1. Can't have on that basis.

Solid performance when beaten by 2.25 m finishing third behind Blockbuster Trade at this track over 1609m in a 15000CLM on September 14 at $2.16. Then a handy effort when well beaten into second behind Im A Powerplay at this track over 1609m in a 15000CLM on September 24 at $5.66. Rates highly. Big chance.
