Plainridge Racecourse Race 5

1609m

Prize Money: $15,086

CHASING DUDES (3) has been on the money a lot of late and went close again last time over 1609m at this track, finishing third and 30 metres from the winner. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Tackles a similar assignment and she can take care of this line-up. RY'S RED ROCKET (6) is racing well with four top-five finishes in succession, the latest effort a second at this track over 1609m. Tackles a similar assignment and she can add to the impressive recent record. SOUTH ST DOTTIE (1) finished sixth last start over 1609m at this track six days ago. Well-placed here and a top-three finish looks on the cards. LYONS SHINING (4) must be considered after she finished runner-up over 1609m at this track a week ago.

Failed to impress last start; 6th (Fr5) over 1609m at this track beaten 19 m by Cover The Crown (1:52.10) in MNW3000CD on October 2 at $12.70. Showed ability the run before when she won by 1.5 m (Fr4) at this track (1:54.20) beating Storybook Bella in FMTRK<76 on September 15 at $3.30. Capable of more than she has shown recently. Respect.

Last start was well beaten into third behind Always B Best at this track over 1609m on October 1 at $3.50. Raced better the start before that with a good run when 3rd (Fr7) over 1609m at this track, beaten 3 m by South St Dottie (1:54.20) on September 15 at $4.60. Definite winning chance.
