SPECIAL PLAYERS (5) doesn't win out of turn but looks close to breaking through. Finished third (22.65) at Shepparton last time making it two minors on end. Form here sound including seven wins. Likely to feature again. HOKKAIDO EXPRESS (1) had a tricky draw and ran well to finish third, beaten 2 lengths, (22.16) at Ballarat. Has a strong record from box 1, including three wins. Overdue and expected to feature again. FENDI EXPRESS (2) chased the lead early from the inside draw but took over turning to score (24.12) at Bendigo in a Grade 5 over 425m. Capable of going well again. PAW AMARLI (7) must be included in main hopes on latest effort.

Comments

Struggling to break through but racing consistently, finishing in the minors three starts on end. Last time out flew the lids with a fast early sectional but gathered in and finished in the minors when third (22.16) at Ballarat over 390m. Although unsuccessful last time still ran one of the quickest times on the card. Stick with him.

Showed strong early pace and proved too slick around Bendigo over 425m in 24.12, claiming a Grade 5 by 1.75 lengths. Key chance on that latest effort.

Could only manage seventh last time but placed two on end prior to that, the latest when third (24.07) over 425m at Bendigo. Has a low draw but will need the breaks to go his way.

Big odds last time but gave a huge sight after a fast early split, grabbed late but holding on to a placing when a 2.5 lengths third (22.65) over 390m at Shepparton. Close to the speed and boxed on well at the latest run. Key chance again.

Comments

Was a little disappointing last start, fading in the run home at Healesville over 300m. The start prior was at her best with a 1.75 lengths win over 450m at Ballarat. Is a danger.
