York Race 4

William Hill Epic Boosts Ebf Novice Stakes (Gbb Race)

Prize Money: $46,125

SHARADD (3) represents notable connections. The colt showed plenty of promise first up winning by an easy 6L contesting a 1200m novice event on soft ground at Haydock a month ago. Finds a nice opportunity to follow up. Top pick. OUR SON OSCAR (2) shaped well on debut posting a 1.5L third attempting a 1200m maiden at Pontefract before scoring by 2.5L at the same course and distance among novice company three weeks ago. Big chance. MEHMAS STAR (4) makes appeal following a neck second debuting in a 1200m novice race at Carlisle. Returns to something easier after a 9L defeat at Curragh (Ireland). Deserves a market check. MUGHEER (1) rates next best.
