BOB JOHN RAY (3) is racing well. Scored at this track (Dirt) two back then finished second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1710m at this track (Dirt) at the latest appearance a week-and-a-half ago. Good record at this journey with four wins and a placing from seven starts and shapes as a key contender. NOTED (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 24 lengths over 1609m at this track (Dirt). Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. SLIM SLOW SLIDER (4) has switched yards since finishing third five weeks ago over 1673m at this track. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. ROYAL 'N RANDO (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 25 lengths away in seventh over 1609m at Del Mar. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
