Richmond Race 9

Poolwerx Richmond/Kurrajong

Prize Money: $2,335

RARE EARTH (7) was an impressive winner last time in quickest of the meeting when scoring by 5.5 lengths (18.13) at this track. Expected to be in this for a long way. SOMETHING DARK (5) is a talented type who boasts a strong winning strike-rate at this distance. Has been on speed to score at his last couple of runs. Latest win recorded a handy 18.29 at this track. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. Hard to fault his form and makes plenty of appeal again. SPRING FRED (2) is better than last start when seventh (19.60) from Box 7 at Dubbo over 318m. Has a solid record from this box including two wins and a minor placing. Worth another chance. TRUE PROMISES (1) has ability and can feature with the right run after missing a cheque here most recently.
