EDSONS WAGON (8) lifted strongly to score by half a length two runs back at this track (Dirt) then finished sixth over 320m in Group 3 grade at this track (Dirt) last time in tougher grade. Has a solid record here at the distance with two wins and two placings from five tries. Expected to be in the finish. SMOKINDOWNTHEBEACH (4) ran well below his best last time over 320m in Listed grade at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths into seventh at $2.10. Deserves another chance. FABULOUS FREDDIE (6) battled on well to hold second last start over 320m in stakes class at this track (Dirt), beaten one length when fresh from a spell. Faces an easier assignment so he is a leading contender. CV WARLOCK (5) finished third over 320m at this track two back then missed the frame last time out over 302m at this track (Dirt). Significant rider change today with senior Edgar Diaz going aboard. Has ability and definitely worth including.
