Laurel Park Race 9

Mdn Claiming

Prize Money: $43,103

OCCUPY (2) was fourth on debut then ran a better race to finish second last time, beaten 0.8 lengths over 1006m at Colonial Downs Inner Turf (Turf). Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Among the leading chances. VICTORIA'S SONG (1) started at $7.60 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 10 lengths at Monmouth Park (Dirt) over 1006m. Faces an easier assignment so she is sure to be prominent. DIVINE SUNSHINE (3) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish tenth at her latest appearance over 1106m at this track (Turf). Solid top-three chance on her best figures. SHANGHAI ROSE (8) finished 14 lengths from the winner in 11th at her most recent appearance over 1509m at Delaware Park Turf (Turf). Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment.
