RAMSES THE GREAT (3) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished eighth when fresh from a spell two starts back at Delaware Park Turf (Turf) then improved and scored as public elect over 1106m at this track (Synthetic) three weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. ARCHIMEDES (4) with a new stable today and tackling a synthetic surface for the first time. In the right form after a win last start on turf at Monmouth Park Turf over 1006m, scoring by 0.3 lengths. Expect he will bring the good form to this surface. GIFT EXCHANGE (1) was prominent at the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1207m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ALPHA CAT (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1408m at Belmont Park Turf, beaten 14 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
