Belmont Park Race 6

Matron S. Stakes

Prize Money: $287,356

BRICKYARD BELLE (1) impressed when successful on debut over 1106m at Saratoga Turf (Turf) five-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver who should run well again. HARPER'S CORNER (3) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished second, beaten 5 lengths, over 1408m in the G1 Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga (Dirt). Has the talent to figure prominently. ROYAL COMPANION (7) made it two wins in succession last start when she scored by 2.75 lengths over 1106m at Listed level at Colonial Downs Inner Turf (Turf). Stepping up a level this time but on current form she is right in contention. YOLO TRAIN (8) raced on the pace over 1106m at Saratoga Turf (Turf) on debut last start and went on to win by 4 lengths. Among the top-three contenders.
