Laurel Park Race 6

James F. Lewis Iii S. Stakes

Prize Money: $143,678

WALT'S NOTION (4) did a good job last start to finish second at Listed level at Delaware Park (Dirt) over 1207m, beaten a nose. Should be at his peak now. Bold showing expected with the blinkers added. HAREWOOD (1) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better in Listed grade at Colonial Downs Turf (Turf) over 1106m, beaten 0.8 lengths. Cherry-ripe now. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from three starts. Leading contender. GRIND IT OUT (5) showed good speed over 1207m at Colonial Downs (Dirt) and led throughout to score. Same rider aboard and will be in this for a long way. PRINCE OF PEACE (6) got off the mark over 1106m at Colonial Downs (Dirt) last start, scoring by 3 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
