Dubbo Race 9

Wayne Mallison Painting & Decorating

Prize Money: $2,335

MAKO MERV (7) drew an outside box and was game in defeat when only 1.3 lengths from the winner Materialistic in second(25.91) at Temora. Has performed well from this box with a win and two minor placings to his name from four starts. Rates highly and will give a great sight. KERT KERT (1) had been in super honest form hitting the frame two times on end before finishing seventh (18.88) at Wagga last time. Cannot be taken lightly. LAST STRAW (2) has been beaten for early speed lately, last time finishing sixth (23.43) in a Grade 4/5 at this track. Form at the trip sound including two wins. Can figure in the finish. SPRING FRED (8) did a good job to finish third last time out over 320m at Wagga (18.41) in a Grade 5, the second top-three finish on the trot.

Won two starts back when well in the market at this track over 318m. Last start finished 4th on October 5 over 318m at this track behind Rosacky Rayo beaten 6 lengths (18.79) in a NG. Look for improvement. Not out of it.
