HAPPY ENCOUNTER (7) is closing in on a win after two consecutive minor placings, the latest when third over 1207m at Laurel (Dirt). Blinkers added in a positive sign from the stable. DONCELLA (4) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing third last time when she was in the firing line all the way over 1106m at this track (Dirt). Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. TUVANA (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 25 lengths when seventh over 1207m at Laurel a week-and-a-half ago. Has the class to take this out. MISSELEANOR (1) finished 16 lengths away in sixth at her last appearance over 1207m at this track (Dirt) on September 23. Worth including in this suitable contest.

Last start ran second last of 7 at this track on September 23 over 1207m, 16 len behind Kwan with 52kg at $6.30. Before that 3rd in a small field at Timonium on August 28 over 805m, 1.5 len behind Grey Bells with 53.5kg at $12.90. Better than that recent lacklustre performance suggests.

Expected Settling Position: Leader

Racing well recently. Most recently tracked the speed and boxed on steadily 3rd of 8 at this track on October 10 over 1106m, 7 len behind Can Am Winner with 54.5kg at $5.90. The race before that sat on the pace when 3rd of 9 at this track on September 12 over 1106m, 5 len behind We Goin carrying 53kg at $10.20. Plenty to like about her prospects.
