Scioto Downs Race 8

Race 8

Prize Money: $35,920

REDLAND ROCKET MAN (5) made it two in a row last start when he got the cash by 1.3 metres over 1609m at Mohawk Park. Has the talent to take this out. AL PAPI (7) made it two wins from his last three appearances a week ago, getting home by 7 metres over 1609m at The Red Mile. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Has the class to make it back-to-back wins. SWEET LOVIN LOU (4) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when he finished second at The Red Mile over 1609m. BEAU JANGLES (1) finished second at Mohawk Park last time. Consistent and deserves respect.

Been racing well and showed plenty of improvement following August 22 run. Last start won by 15 m as favourite (Fr3) at Pocono Downs (1:49.00) beating Everlast Sting Deo in SIMPSON on September 26 at $1.05. This race will be harder than that win. This will test.

Racing consistently with minor placings at his last two starts. Placed last start 3rd (Fr6) over 1609m at The Red Mile, beaten 7 m by Brandon Blvd (1:47.20) in BLUEGRASS-G3 on October 3 at $9.06. Before that 2nd (Fr6) over 1609m at The Red Mile, beaten 4 m by Brandon Blvd (1:48.00) in KYSS-R1 on September 20 at $20.21. This race looks too tough.

Solid run when beaten by 1.5 m finishing second behind Brandon Blvd at The Red Mile over 1609m in a BLUEGRASS-G3 on October 3 at $3.60. Then a handy effort when beaten by 7 m finishing second behind Al Papi at The Red Mile over 1609m in a TATTERSALL-G2 on October 10 at $2.79. Capable of taking this out.
