MISSED THE TRUTH A (1) added to the impressive sequence of wins last start when he scored by 4 metres over 1609m at this track. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Meets a similar line up so he can certainly add to the winning sequence. TYPHOON BANNER N (4) turned in a much better run when second up last time out, finishing third over 1609m at this track. His recent form is good enough to take out a race like this. BOILING OAR (5) is a big chance following a run of three top-three finishes, the latest at this track a week ago. Real threat to the top selections. CAPTAIN AWESOME (2) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 6 metres at this track over 1609m.

Eight-year-old gelding showed improvement last time. 2nd (Fr2) over 1609m at this track beaten 5 m by Theflyingrock (1:53.10) in 30000CLM on October 8 at $16.55. The run before was not as impressive when well beaten into seventh behind Missed The Truth at this track over 1609m in a 30000CLM on September 28 at $32.63. Form reads okay, but out of his depth.
