Mount Gambier Race 3

Harness Dinner Auction October 31 Pace

Prize Money: $5,000

DANCIN WITH ELVIS (1) has been racing well of late. Finished fourth from this barrier at his latest appearance at Horsham. Should enjoy an economical run from this draw. Good enough to put himself in the winners' stall. THE IRISHMAN NZ (3) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 3.5 metres from the winner in fourth from this barrier at Shepparton. Contender. SMOKIN STREPO (7) ended last prep with a win at this circuit and distance four-and-a-half months ago. Capable of a forward showing while fresh. BAYSIDE VICTORY (2) draws well and might find this easier than his recent attempts.

Resuming after four-and-a-half months off the scene. Finished off last preparation recording on the speed and boxed on steadily; posted a big 6 m win as favourite (Fr4) at this track (2:14.80) beating Alook To Like in on June 9 at $2 at the bell was 2nd-1.6m 2WNC. Look for a strong return.
