Western Fair Raceway Race 8

Race 8

Prize Money: $12,146

SHURI (1) finished eighth last start, beaten 7 metres at Mohawk Park over 1609m. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Finds a nice race and will prove very tough to beat. OCEANSIDE MAGIC (5) finished fourth last start over 1609m at Flamboro Downs, beaten 8 metres, after a good win at Flamboro Downs the run prior. Certainly cannot be faulted after that last effort. Good enough to take out a race like this. SUNFLOWER HANOVER (3) is on the radar after her last-start fourth over 1609m at this track a week ago. J M OOH LALA (2) cannot be left out after solid recent performances, the latest a sound second at Flamboro Downs over 1609m.

Freshened-up since the last run 37 days ago. Not far away at the last couple starts; Finished 1.75 m second behind Malicia Speed at Flamboro Downs over 1609m FM last start. Before that was beaten half a metre second at Grand River Raceway same class on August 31. Racing well and not without merit.
