Plainridge Racecourse Race 6

1609m

Prize Money: $15,805

ALVIN BRICKROCK (4) is racing well with seven top-five finishes in succession, the latest effort a third at this track over 1609m. Won't find this any harder and he can get the job done. CHECKERS LEGACY (5) produced a better effort at his latest appearance when runner-up over 1609m at this track, beaten 0.8 metres. Big chance in a similar assignment. BRAZOS (1) is better than his last-start ninth over 1609m at this track. HOT ON THE TRAIL (7) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 9 metres at this track over 1609m. Something for the Multiples: TWIN B JAYS (8)

Last start was well beaten into ninth behind Flirtin Jk at this track over 1609m on August 31 at $2.20. Raced better the start before that with a solid effort when 2nd (Fr6) over 1609m at this track, beaten 1.5 m by Lyons Benz (1:52.10) on August 20 at $12.10. Very hard to beat from the inside draw.

Fair performance when beaten by 6 m finishing third behind Captain Tell at this track over 1609m on September 29 at $8.20. Then a handy effort when beaten by 1.5 m finishing third behind Boogy Woogy J at this track over 1609m on October 5 at $1.50. Capable of testing this line-up.
