Ballarat Race 9

Southern Sheetmetal

Prize Money: $2,925

OKLAHOMA BALE (2) turned in a plain run last time when fifth at Warrnambool over 450m behind Mr. Jones (25.81) in a Grade 5. Was in the money prior to that. Has claims if he runs up to expectations. PAW REVY (8) showed good early burn and was there until turning but swamped late to finish 5th at Warragul in Grade 5 H company. The form from her last run is stacking up nicely. Key runner on best form. TRICKY DISCO (1) missed the frame last time but had been racing well prior to that, winning a Grade 4/5 three back before a placing at this track the following run. Can feature with the right run. MARCO MARCO (7) cannot be written off despite a miss here at his latest outing.

Missed the frame last start when a 8 length eighth (26.07) at this track. Previous form sound including a win three back at Geelong. Looks a key chance here on best and given another chance.

Found some support last start but struggled and finished 5th over 450m at Warrnambool beaten 6 lengths (25.81) behind Mr. Jones in a Grade 5 on October 8. Placed two back at Bendigo. Has been racing well. Well placed here and looks a leading contender.

Was sent out long odds last time but charged out of the boxes with a fast early sectional and gave a sight before being swallowed up late, finishing a 3.5 lengths fourth (24.03) over 425m at Bendigo. This looks too tough.
