BEGGIN FOR BACON (1) scored at Monticello Raceway three runs ago but has been unplaced in two subsequent runs, the latest when fourth over 1609m at Monticello Raceway, beaten 10 metres. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a strong performance. OZONE BLUE CHIP (4) is worth another chance after a last-start eighth over 1609m at this track a week ago. BLOWIN SMOKE (5) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at this track over 1609m. Something for the Multiples: MASTER MIKI (7)
