Maryborough Race 1

Alf & Glad Leech Memorial Trot

Prize Money: $4,000

BETSY ANNE (6) recorded yet another strong performance last time when she battled on bravely to just miss out over 1690m at this track, adding to a string of recent minor placings. Leading hope based on that latest outing. CASTLES IN THE SKY (5) was out of the money two back at this track. Turned in a better run last time out when second over 1690m at this track, beaten 7 metres. Meets a similar line up and she is capable of another bold performance. MAJOR MAX (3) is worth another chance after a last-start seventh over 2180m at Kilmore five weeks ago. TOUCHANDGO (7) is worth some thought after his last-start fourth over 2180m at Terang on October 19.
