Newcastle Bags Race 5

Newcastle Greyhounds On Sky Sports Racing Stakes

Prize Money: $895

ALNWICK MEGAN (3) looks well placed here following an A4 win two back before finishing in the minors at her latest appearance in an A4 at this track over 480m (29.08). Should enjoy this easier grade so worth following up. DRYLAND VELVET (5) was narrowly beaten when placing two back but missed the frame latest finishing fourth (29.58) in an A5 at this track. Can find the frame this time. BRAMBLE ANGEL (2) hit the frame with a close-up second two runs back then claimed an A6 by 3 lengths at this track over 480m (29.20) last time. Faces a stiffer grade but latest effort hard to fault. WESTONS SKELETON (1) looks well placed here following an A4 win two back before finishing sixth at her latest appearance in an A4 at this track over 480m (29.79). This easier so don't rule her out.
