SECOND SON (5) Got the upper hand late when winning last time at the track. In fine form since coming back from a spell. A Mendoza takes a large claim. Won't be far away. PROUD TOMAS (8) Finished 2nd last time at this track. Jockey O Hernandez Jr and trainer L Paz Rodriguez link well together. Serious player. NEVADO (7) On a short back up. Was fighting out the finish when winning last run at this venue but will have to carry more weight. Going well this campaign. A win wouldn't surprise. JOHAN MATEO (6) Fought on gamely when winning last run at this track and have to respect the form at the distance. J Uelva and N Ocampo are a combination worth noting. One in a race with many chances.

Started at $8.50 and was ordinary when 6th last start at this venue but ideal trip as proven previously. Good to see Y Lasso is jumping on. Good enough chance at a very tempting price.
