DEADLY FORCE (1) didn't fire on debut at Wangaratta but was sent out $1.85 there and has since spelled. He's won a jumpout leading in and is expected to improve sharply for the Shinn/Freedman combination. RAINING FIRE (5) resumes. She placed in all four runs in her maiden campaign over 1000m-1300m in some handy form races. Trained on course is always a positive here and she'll go well. PROLIFIC ANGEL (6) resumes having run fifth on debut at Werribee in a race won by the smart Tales Of Time. He's expected to improve for the top yard, look for him running on. TOP ACE (7) is a Turn Me Loose gelding on debut for the Douglas yard who has jumped out well here and looks ready to go. MYSTIC RIVER QUEEN (9) next best.

Mare back from a spell of five months. Has placed previously first up from a break. Finished off last preparation second of 10 at Bendigo F&M Mdn-Sw May 29 over 1300m, 1.3 len behind Queen Of Cordoba carrying 55kg at $3. First up last campaign third of 12 at Werribee Mdn-Sw April 11 over 1000m, 4.5 len behind Bear Champ with 55.5kg at $8.50. Looks forward enough after a recent trial win. Handy and will take beating.
