Shepparton Race 12

Two More Races To Go

Prize Money: $3,360

ASTON FONTAINE (1) jumped cleanly from the rails last start to lead all the way and score (22.17) at this track in a Grade 5 over 390m. Flying at the moment and expecting another big run. ELITE INTENTION (3) shapes well for this after finishing second last time but in a scintillating time behind Warren's Ledger, getting around Bendigo over 425m in 23.59. Should be in this for a long way. ZELDA BRAGA (2) was in the minor money with a sharp 22.19, finishing second in a Mix 3/4 at this track last start. Has the ability and looks a key chance. MEPUNGA SCARLETT (4) has claims fresh from a recent placing at big odds.

Has been in tremendous form, putting three wins back-to-back. Had plenty of support last start when he won by one length at this track (22.17) beating Star Meli in a Grade 5 on October 5. Flying lately and can score again.

Hit the frame latest (22.19) when second at this track in a Mix 3/4. Goes very well from the draw boasting two victories and four places from 10 starts. Has ability and looks a key chance.

Finished in the minors last time but the start prior was an effortless winner scoring by 7 lengths in a Grade 5 at this track and recording a sharp 22.18 over the 390m journey. Hard to top on the time from two back.

Got back last start and could only manage third but before that won by a head at Horsham (23.23) beating Sweet Love in a Mix 3/4 on September 19. Comes out of a hot form race. Worth following up.

Won two starts back after racing on the pace at Warragul over 400m in 22.73. Followed that up with a minor placing over 390m at this track at Grade 4 a week-and-a-half ago. Hard to entertain this time.

Big odds last time but gave a huge sight after a scorching early split, weakening late to finish a 2 length fourth (25.42) over 450m at this track. Is a danger.

Did a good job two starts back at this track to win by one length in 22.57, beating Lakeview Mitch. Last start finished last over 390m at this track beaten 4.5 lengths (22.46) behind Ascend Igloo in a Mix 3/4 on October 19. Prefer in something easier.
