Star Pelaw Race 7

245mtrs (D3)

Prize Money: $600

VIOLETS GIRL (2) jumped from the inside and boxed on well to finish second last time, beaten 1.3 lengths (14.84) behind Burgess Siun at this track. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card last start despite being beaten. Deserves a win and gets her chance. DEVON LUCKY (3) was responsible for a modest effort most recently when sixth at this track over 435m behind Rapid Trapper (27.99) in an A6. Was in the money prior to that. The form out of last race has been strong. Better than last start and can bounce back. SOCIETY SCARY (5) is a talented type and proved too strong last time to win by 1.3 lengths at this track in a handy 15.12 beating Cherry Darling. Should feature again. CATCH THE WIND (1) followed a moderate fourth at this track two runs ago with another plain effort last time to finish sixth, beaten 7 lengths, in a D2 at this track over 245m (15.33). This easier and can improve sharply.

Racing well of late. In the money two starts back at this track then finished runner-up at her latest appearance in a D3 at this track over 245m (14.84). The one they have to overcome.

Finished fourth two starts ago then regained form last time out when she found a couple better over 245m in a D3 at this track. Cannot enthuse despite that better recent effort.
