Churchill Downs Race 6

Mdn Special Weight

Prize Money: $170,697

LITHOS (6) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish second last time over 1609m in Listed grade at Delaware Park (Dirt), beaten 3 lengths. Has a strong finish. Heading in the right direction and looks the one to beat. STEVE WOOD (7) returned last time with a solid second at Keeneland (Dirt) over 1308m after being in the firing line on the corner. Likely improver with bright prospects. GUN FOR GLORY (4) finished second, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1509m at this track (Dirt) after he was prominent at the bend. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. BARREL ROLL (2) finished third last time over 1710m at Keeneland (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Sure to be thereabouts.
