Horsham Race 9

Greyhound Clubs Victoria

Prize Money: $2,925

TAG ALONG (2) was in the placings last time but prior to that produced a quick 23.28 win over 410m at this track. Can return to winning form here if runs up to time two back. EAT YOUR SPINACH (7) broke from the inside draw and filled a minor placing last start, beaten only 1.3 lengths (23.55) behind My Name's Eden at this track. Will give a great sight again. BLACK STATESMAN (4) finds it hard to break through. Better run when finding the frame last time though, finishing third (22.34) at Ballarat. Has a good record here including two wins. Leading player again. MELVIN BALE (5) is worth another chance despite missing the top-three here most recently.

Snuck into the minor money last time when a 0.8 lengths second at Shepparton but did record a fast 22.24 over the 390m journey. Harder here and one for the multiples.

Flew the lids with a fast early split but had to contend with second when clocking 23.74 over 410m at this track. Close to the speed and boxed on well at the latest run. Key chance again.

Struggling to break through but racing consistently, finishing in the minors three starts on end. Last time out flew the lids with a fast early sectional but gathered in and finished in the minors when third (23.55) at this track over 410m. Overdue and expected to feature again.
