Romford Bags Race 7

1987 - The Golden Sprint Began

Prize Money: $1,067

BOMBAY BUCK (5) won by a space last time scoring by 7 lengths at this track in a handy 23.95. Recorded the quickest time on the card last start. Has hit winning form and can measure up again. BACON BURRGER (2) is progressing well with another good run last time, placing (24.51) at this track. Has a good record here at this journey. Didn't win last time but still ran one of the quickest times on the card. Will give a great sight again. JACKTAVERN DON (3) turned in a plain effort last time when fifth at Dunstall Park over 270m behind Turnthemagicon (16.51) in a IV. Was in the money the start prior. Remains without a win from the draw but has been in the placings three times from six attempts. Key runner who gets his chance to atone. TOMAHAWK (1) cannot be left out after placing last start.

Didn't fire two runs back then progressed nicely last time to be beaten just a head into second over 450m at Doncaster. Looks to have turned things around so follow him up.
